Dear Cathedral Family,
We talk a lot about vision and purpose and being all that God has created us to be. It’s inspiring and exciting! But, let’s be honest. Have you ever felt stuck? Like you’re sitting in a perpetual waiting room? Like life is On Pause?
Perhaps you have a big dream but keep hitting roadblocks that keep you from gaining momentum. Maybe you’re waiting to hear back from the fifteenth job interview, or struggling with a chronic illness, or wondering if that relationship can ever be reconciled.
Wherever you find yourself “in the waiting”, I want you to know that there is HOPE!
In the Bible, we find many examples of people, just like us, navigating similar situations. We’ll take the next two weeks, as we approach Easter, to explore how God wants to partner with us, even when we feel stuck.
God designed us for relationships – with Him and with others. That’s part of why being involved in the local church is vital for our lives.
Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble…A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10,12 (NLT)
If you’re looking for a next step to build relationships and grow in your faith, I’d encourage you to go through our Growth Track. Here’s how Sonia & Rusty, two of our Dream Team members describe it: “Going through Growth Track was a gateway into the next season of my life! It is a gateway to the people, and connection, and love, and plans that God has for us.” Find out more here.
I look forward to seeing you Sunday!
