Hello Cathedral Family,
I’ve heard wonderful things about Jim Weathers’ message last week about training yourself to hear God’s whispers. If you weren’t able to attend I encourage you to watch the message online.
We are getting encouraging reports from everyone in the WHISPER small groups! I am beyond confident that this series is a timely message for us as a church family and as a nation. There is nothing that can bring true strength, peace, healing, direction or assurance like a WHISPER from God.
This Sunday we will continue to explore this incredible advantage that we have as believers to hear directly from God about anything in our life. Jesus himself depended on this lifeline with God to give him direction and guidance, and he promises that we have the same access to our heavenly father.
HALLAPALOOZA is Saturday from 5-8pm! This is our fall festival alternative to Halloween, and it’s one of our biggest community outreaches of the year. It’s a great way to introduce someone to Cathedral. Bring your family and have dinner on campus. Then enjoy games and rides for children of all ages. Children get lots of candy! Admission is free for infants and adults and $5 for ages 3-17. Don’t forget cash for the food vendors!
