Marriage Foundation 101

This 5-week course will help couples discover practical ways for building a strong, passionate marriage relationship. It is for couples who are married, engaged, or seriously dating. You will learn principles for communication, physical intimacy, money management, understanding personal differences, God’s desire for marriage, and many other subjects. Lasting and fulfilling love can be yours at any age, in any state of marriage.

This course is required for couples wishing to be married at Cathedral.

Marriage Foundation 102

Your marriage matters to us at Cathedral. Every marriage has the potential to be strong and vibrant, but too often relational issues set it off-course. This 5-week workshop is designed for couples that desire to work together to enhance the quality of their relationships. The workshop provides you with the opportunity to grow spiritually, relationally, and emotionally for the purpose of moving past the crazy conflicts and unloving behaviors to a marriage where you are respected and treasured. This group is for couples that are struggling as well as for those with happy marriages who want to keep it that way.

Marriage 201: Love and Respect

Maybe you've heard that a woman needs to be loved by her husband, and a man needs to be respected by his wife. However, if you're like the average man or woman, you're thinking, "Sure, that all sounds great, but what does it mean?"

Men often define love differently than their wives, while women often don't know how to define respect. If both you and your spouse have these needs, but don't know what they are, how can you satisfy each other?

Once you and your spouse understand what it means to love and respect, relational landmines can be avoided. The result can be greater love, deeper intimacy, and movement toward the kind of marriage that God desires for you.
