Dear Cathedral Family,
We love celebrating when something incredible happens like it did last Sunday! So many people made the decision to receive Jesus as Savior and take the first step on their journey toward wholeness. (We tried to count everyone but lost track as hands kept going up.) What a huge YAY GOD!
Pastor Eddie Tilley delivered a powerful message about how to ACTIVATE GROWTH in our lives. What a clear presentation of the process of moving from living a life driven by SELF to being led more and more by the HOLY SPIRIT! The SELF/SPIRIT gauge prop really helped us visualize the internal battle that goes on in all of us! Don’t you just love our team’s creativity? As we continue yielding our lives to the Holy Spirit, we’ll see tremendous changes in how we think and act! Our lives become more like God intended, and we reflect more of His character. The Spirit-filled life is a GOOD LIFE!
But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is DIVINE LOVE in all its varied expressions: JOY that overflows, PEACE that subdues, PATIENCE that endures, KINDNESS in action, a life full of VIRTUE, FAITH that prevails, GENTLENESS of heart, and STRENGTH of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be LIMITLESS. Galatians 5:22-23 (TPT).
I’m so excited for what God is doing in 2021. God is definitely on the move! This Sunday, our largest group ever will be finishing up Growth Track and take their next bold step in making a difference by get involved in our Dream Team. I’m so grateful that God brought these gifted and purpose-filled men and women to Cathedral, and I cannot wait to see what God does in and through each one!
Can you believe we’re at the end of February? So far in 2021, we’ve focused on living BOLD and activating our FAITH, LOVE and GROWTH. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Dave Ammons wraps up our ACTIVATE series with a message that will supercharge you! I don’t want you to miss it!
