Dear Church Family,
Philippians 1:6 (TPT)
In process = not yet what will be but not what has been.
Depending on your perspective, being “in process” can be a grand adventure, the scary unknown, or anywhere in between. What gives us great hope is that we’re not alone; God is right here with us in the “process” journey! We even have the assurance of supernatural help – “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” Philippians 2:13 (NLT)
I’m so looking forward to part two of our series Designed to Overcome this Sunday as we continue learning from the life of Joseph (Genesis 37-50). His journey – from Dream to Destiny – took 13 years! What happened in Joseph’s heart during those years to build his character, define his true identity, clarify his values, and equip him to rise to become the second most powerful person in all of Egypt? I can’t wait for us to dive in together!
This Sunday, I’ll also be sharing our plans for resuming in-person worship services in the very near future. Please understand that these are tentative plans because we’ll be continually monitoring the situation in our state and making your spiritual health and physical safety our top priorities. I want you to hear my heart on this first, so I invite you to join us online at 11am via Livestream or Facebook Live.
See you Sunday. And remember, we will get through this together!
