I’m so excited about being back this weekend! I’m rested, rejuvenated, inspired, AND our quiver now includes a new grandson! Can you believe that single ‘little one’ instantly added over TEN pounds to the Ammons/Lewis clan?!

Last week we heard an amazing word from Charles Simpson (a personal friend and mentor to me) entitled “From Chaos to Creation”. I love how GOD works. As I spent the last portion of my study break seeking direction from the Lord, I felt strongly that He gave me a word. But, just in case I had any doubts, the Lord sent Charles to us with a message that PERFECTLY set up what I believe God is saying to us. If you missed the service you NEED to go online and watch it!

This Sunday, I’ll begin sharing that word with you. Have you ever felt STUCK, like you were in some kind of “no man’s land”? It’s like you’re no longer where you were, but you haven’t yet arrived at where you’re supposed to be. It’s neither here nor there. It’s the breeding ground for worry, doubt, fear, and anxiety, but it’s also…necessary. I’m convinced that the greatest growth and maturity happens in this place.

So how do you “wait upon the Lord” well? How do you “be still and know that He’s God” without losing your mind, so to speak?

How can you KNOW God is not through with you yet and has a WONDERFUL PLAN for what is next for you!?!

That’s what we’re going to discover together over the next few weeks!

Thank you for being an incredible church family. For several years now, I’ve been taking a few weeks in the summer which has allowed the Lord to refresh me and keep me envisioned for the growth of Cathedral. I’m able to do that because of your love and support and our wonderful staff. As much as I’ve enjoyed the break…I CAN’T WAIT FOR SUNDAY WITH YOU!
