Dear Cathedral Family,
Can you believe that it’s already September?! I know there’s a temptation right now to want to fast-forward through the end of this year, right on into 2021, in hopes that things will be back to “normal”.
But the truth is, we have four months – that’s an entire one-third of a year, almost 120 days – remaining in 2020. That’s a lot of time – with countless possibilities for seeing God work all things together for our good! So, let’s not give up on 2020 just yet.
I know that it’s been a challenging year so far. And now we’re trying to figure out our “next normal” with school starting and the holiday season approaching. Could I encourage you today? Don’t lose heart & don’t give up!
“So, let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.” Galatians 6:9
Just like I said back in March, you’re not alone. We’re all in this together! So, let’s keep encouraging one another, believing for each other, and praying for one another.
We’re believing for a great September as a church family! Here’s some exciting news – our worship team will be back LIVE in the room starting this Sunday. And, parents, are you ready for this? CKIDS will be back on September 13! Who is doing a happy dance? I’m so grateful for our incredible Dream Team for serving and helping make our services happen. You all are the BEST!
Pastor Eddie Tilley has an awesome message for us this Sunday as we conclude our WHAT NOW?! series. I’m looking forward to a great time worshipping together in-person at 9am and 11am and via Facebook Live and Livestream at 11am.
