Have you enjoyed our PRAY FIRST series?

It’s just amazing how much wisdom is packed into the few, short phrases that Jesus taught his disciples to pray in The Lord’s Prayer!

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
Amen.
                        Matthew 6:9-13 (New Living Translation)

Last week, Pastor Eddie Tilley started unpacking the last part of the prayer: For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:13) When the planning team met this week, it didn’t take long for us to conclude that Eddie had a part 2 of that message to share with you this Sunday. If you missed last Sunday or would like a refresher, you can view it here.

How would things be different if you were experiencing the reality of the power and glory of the Kingdom of God coming into every area of your life? In your home, with your husband or wife, with your kids, with your parents or your in-laws, in the workplace, with your customers, in traffic, ____(you fill in the blank). Take a moment and just imagine what it could be like!

I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us this Sunday. Just a reminder that you’re welcome to join in on our pre-service prayer time in the Worship Center at 8:15am on Sunday mornings. Our Guest Services, CKIDS, Café, Worship Arts and Tech Arts teams spend about 15 minutes together setting the atmosphere with worship and praying over all the aspects of what happens on our campus on Sunday mornings. We’d love for you to be a part.

Prayer really does change things!

See you Sunday.
