Note from Mike – Lead Where You Are

November 11, 2016

Hello Cathedral Family,

Thank you to everyone who has served or is serving in our U.S. Armed Forces. Veteran’s Day is set aside to honor the brave men and women who serve and protect our nation, and they deserve our recognition and respect. I am proud to know many in our congregation who have dedicated years of their life in service to our country. America truly is the home of the brave.

This week we’re continuing our Running With The Giants series by studying Deborah. She was a prophetess and judge in Israel during a very dark and troubling time. Deborah was an incredible encourager. Her encouragement and inspiration led Israel to victory against their enemies. Her life demonstrates that you don’t have to be in the spotlight to be a great leader. In fact, it’s possible to lead well no matter where you are – in your home, relationships, job or business.

Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away, and we are once again providing turkey dinners for families in need. Just $25 covers a turkey and all the fixings! If you would like to make this year’s Thanksgiving’s meal extra special for one or more families, you can give online or place your donation in the offering Sunday morning.

I’ll see you Sunday!
