Youth Cheerleading FAQs

1.     When and where do we practice?

  • We practice Tuesday nights from 6-7pm in the LOFT in building C at Cathedral of Praise.

2.    What do we cheer for?

  • We cheer for the Cathedral Sports youth basketball teams.

3.    When and where are those basketball games?

  • The games are mostly on Saturdays and always at the Athletic Center on the Cathedral campus.

4.    What do we wear?

  • We fit all the cheerleaders and then order uniforms which the girls get to keep! We also order bows and pom poms. Girls may wear any athletic shoes they currently own.

5.    What is the cost?

NOW – Regular Registration through Nov. 30 – $65
November 30 – Registration Closes at Midnight
Games Begin – January 7 through February 25

6.    When is the deadline for registration?

  • November 30 – Last Day to Register

7.    When does the season begin?

  • We start practicing on Tuesdays in December. Our games begin Saturdays in January.

8.    Is it a requirement to be a member of Cathedral to cheer?

  • No, we are open to the community.
