2018 Winter Youth Cheerleading

IMPORTANT DATES & Schedule

  • Regular registration until 11/30/17

Practices begin 12/02/17 and games will be held 1/06/18 through 2/24/18

We practice Tuesday nights from 6-7pm in the LOFT in building C at Cathedral.

LEAGUES

Age as of September, 1 2017.  Proof of birth date required for all Leagues.

  • 5 and 6 year olds
  • 7 and 8 year olds
  • 9 – 11 year olds

Uniforms

  • Each child is supplied with cheer uniform and poms.

Practice Schedule

  • 2-4 Weeks of Practice followed by 8 Weeks of games & practice.
    • Practice: Begins December – 1 Hr/Week
    • Games: 1 Hr. Game per week
  • Practice days and times will be decided by the coach.

Coaches

  • All coaches are Volunteers.
  • Please fill out a volunteer form if you are interested.  Coaches Are Needed!!!
  • There will be a national background check on all Coaches/Volunteers for all Cathedral Youth Sports. 

General Rules

  • Cheer squads rotate what team they will cheer for.
  • No tumbling or stunting.
  • Specific color for season.
  • Cheer on sideline and halftime.

Sponsors

We strongly encourage sponsorships of teams by a business or an individual. Click here to download a sponsorship form. The cost to sponsor a team is $300 or $1000 for four teams, one in each age division.  Your sponsorship will include company’s name on team’s uniform and provide one scholarship.  Please email Brian Price for further information on sponsors.  SPONSORS ARE NEEDED!!!
