Note from Mike – Belonging

January 14, 2016

Hello Cathedral Family,

Last week I talked to you about how to begin making your life in 2016 a Life Worth Living. The first key is found in Isaiah 58:10; “Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.” In other words, live a generous life by helping others and giving of yourself for their benefit. According to this verse, a life lived generously will even bring light into darkness!

You are created in the image of God, and your words carry life-giving power. So pay attention to the “2016” that comes out of your mouth. What are you creating with what you say? If your words are kind, gentle, peaceful, loving, and caring, then your 2016 will be a year to remember!

All this month we’ll be talking about how you can align yourself properly for a Life Worth Living. How do you position yourself to cooperate fully with God’s intended plan for you? Like the tires on your car, there is an alignment that needs to happen for optimal living. When you position yourself to cooperate with God, you will experience a supernatural flow that will increase your capacity in every area of life!

This Sunday we will look at BELONGING! How do you find your sweet spot in life and genuinely experience the fulfillment of Doing Life Together (DLT) with true friends? This could be one of the most important messages you will hear all year. You don’t want to miss this one. Bring a friend, and I will, too!

See you Sunday!
