Dear Cathedral Family,

An OPEN WINDOW OF HEAVEN over your life – that’s what The Blessed Life series is all about!

Dean and I so enjoyed going back and remembering some of our stories of God’s faithfulness over the years and sharing them with you last Sunday. The service felt so much like sitting in the living room with our family. Like parents wanting the best for their kids, our heart as your pastoral covering is for you to know in your knower the truth of how much God desires to bless you!

You know, there’s a reason God encourages us to PASS DOWN the stories of God’s faithfulness to our children and our children’s children. It builds our faith and that of those listening when we REMEMBER and RECOUNT all the times God has been faithful. And no one can argue with your story!

The benefits of living the Blessed Life go far beyond the physical and financial realms. There’s such internal comfort, peace and rest that comes out of knowing that you’re living under God’s covering, living “under the spout where the glory comes out” is how we used to say it!

For those of you who have experienced God’s faithfulness as you have taken God up on His challenge to test Him with the tithe, please share your story with the folks God puts in your path. You never know who might need the encouragement that only you can give! (I’d love to hear your story, too!) 

And if you’re still considering taking the tithing challenge, I urge you to give it a try. Not because God needs your money, but because He wants to be free to bless you beyond your wildest imagination!

I’m so looking forward to this Sunday. Pastor Dave Ammons will be speaking, and you don’t want to miss it! Dean and I will be in service, and we can’t wait to worship with you!
