Dear Cathedral Family,
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 (NIV)
It’s one of the most well-known Bible verses of all time – John 3:16! I’m wondering how much more the truth of these words, spoken by Jesus, have come alive to you during this END TIMES series. Are you more aware of God’s patient, generous, reckless love for all of humanity? He desires for as many people as possible to spend eternity with Him!
While we do not know the day or the hour that Jesus will return, it does seem like the timeline is speeding up. We’re closer to the rapture than ever before, and we want to be ready. “The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief.” 2 Peter 3:9-10
How do we prepare for Jesus’ return? That’s what Pastor Megan Turner will be sharing about this Sunday as we wrap up our END TIMES series. You don’t want to miss this Grand Finale. If you missed any of the messages, go ahead and take some time to get caught up either on our website or our app.
Being ready comes down to this main thing – having a relationship with God! All throughout 2021, and especially during our WHY EASTER? series and our current series, we’ve had dozens of people accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Did you know that there’s a party in heaven every time someone dedicates his or her life to the Lord?!
Well, we’re ready to get in on the celebration! This Sunday, over 40 people will be making a public declaration of their faith by participating in water baptism. Come on and join me in a big “Yay, God!” We’ll be having baptism at both services.
I’m looking forward to worshipping God with you this Sunday, in-person at 9 & 11am OR online at 11am via Facebook, YouTube, or our streaming service.
Come ready to celebrate! It’s going to be a great day!
