Dear Cathedral Family,
This Sunday will be a historic day for Cathedral! And you’re invited!
On August 7, we will officially set in Dave and Macie Ammons and Luke and Megan Turner as Cathedral’s Lead Pastors; and I will formally shift to the role of Founding Pastor. This step culminates a four-year transition journey that has been carried out with much prayer and godly counsel. I shared more in-depth about this process in a message earlier this year.
Rest assured, Dean and I will still be here, praying for you and serving as God leads. We’re happily taking on the role of being “grandparents” to the church and could not be more excited for what the future holds. We truly believe that the best is yet to come and look forward to seeing what God does in and through our church.
Brother Charles Simpson, one of my mentors, will be with us this Sunday, as well. He has journeyed with the Lord for many years and understands how to navigate transition and succession in a way that honors God and positions us for the outpouring of God’s favor and blessings. I believe he will share an important message that will serve us well as we move into this incredible new season. Come expecting to encounter God’s presence in a mighty way!
