Dear Cathedral Family,

How’s your thought life been this week?

My prayer is that you’re experiencing more of the Kingdom of God coming in your life and transforming your soul (your mind, emotions and will) with RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE, and JOY (Romans 14:17). I’m believing that we’re all going to experience a leveling up of our quality of life during this season.

If you’re struggling to shift your focus FROM the challenges that seem to loom like giants in front of you TO the One who fights on your behalf and is able to do exceedingly abundantly ‍‍above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), then you may need to pause right now and Raise a Hallelujah!

As we continue our PRAY FIRST series this Sunday, we’ll be focusing on the next phrase – “Give us this day our daily bread”. Adopting a posture of dependence is extremely difficult in our independent, self-sufficient culture. But how much more peace would we experience in our lives if we really trusted God to provide exactly what we need – every single day?!

I can’t think of a better way to remind ourselves of God’s ongoing provision for us than taking communion together this Sunday. I’m looking forward to us experiencing God’s presence as a church family.

I’d also encourage you to join in on our pre-service prayer time in the Worship Center at 8:15am on Sunday mornings. We spend a few minutes setting the atmosphere with worship and praying over all the aspects of what happens on our campus on Sunday mornings. Prayer really does change things!

Be sure to invite a friend to join you this week. What’s going on is too good not to share!

See you Sunday. (We have more PRAY FIRST wristbands for you!) Until then, keep on praying!!!
