What does it feel like to be loved, chosen, forgiven, loved again and chosen again in spite of yourself? Last week, as we reflected on the story of Hosea and Gomer, we saw such a beautiful picture of God’s incredible grace and unfailing love for us. If you missed the service, I’d encourage you to take some time this week to watch it here.
If you’re like me, you need to hear that story again and again and be reminded of the extraordinary lengths God was willing to go to redeem us and bring us back into relationship with Him. Jesus gave His all, His very life, for us – because of how much He loved you and me.
This Sunday, we’re kicking off Christmas at Cathedral. You don’t want to miss a single Sunday. We have incredible services planned, with new and classic Christmas songs, fun dramas and maybe, just maybe, the sounds of Janton on the saxophone.
When you think about the Christmas story, who is the first character that comes to mind? I bet you didn’t pick Joseph. What was it about Joseph, out of all the possible men, that made him the one God picked to be the earthly father of Jesus? We’ll explore that this Sunday.
I look forward to seeing you! And remember, the Christmas season is a great time to invite someone to join you for a service. Don’t let your loved ones miss the true meaning of Christmas this year!
See you Sunday!
