Dear Cathedral Family,
Another Great Cathedral Summer!
I really enjoyed my summer study break, BUT I’m glad to have both feet planted firmly back HOME. Last week’s service was so refreshing and really ministered to Dean and me. It felt like we experienced what people experience every Sunday here at Cathedral. It was inspiring and infilling. Thank You for being a congregation that creates an atmosphere filled with the presence of God.
Last week we talked about the power in having the courage to be vulnerable. Church is meant to be a place where the family of believers love, encourage and spur one another on to become all that God has for us. We played a video in service that showed this courage to be vulnerable. If you didn’t see it, I HIGHLY encourage you to go to our Facebook page and watch “Bob and Ben’s story”.
This Sunday we begin our new series, At the Movies! There’s nothing more powerful than a story and movies bring that story to life. I can’t wait to share with you how the power of God can work through all the broken pieces of your life to bring about a beautiful story.
Why are we doing this series? Because it’s a great on-ramp for people who may not normally attend church. I encourage you to use At the Movies as an outreach tool to invite your friends and coworkers.
