I LOVE OUR CHURCH FAMILY! This past Sunday reminded me of back in the day when we put billboards up along I-26 that simply said, “Did you ever think going to church could be fun?” The music team did an incredible job with worship, and the movie theme song medley was AMAZING! Then Pastor Dave knocked it out of the park with our first installment of AT THE MOVIES! The major theme of the movie was, “God is on a rescue mission”.
EIGHTY SIX people made the decision Sunday to respond to God and begin their journey with Him! I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to invite your friends who don’t know God to come during this series. The creative team has put together another amazing service for this Sunday! Remember, due to copyright laws, we cannot show the movie clips on our livestream, so YOU NEED TO BE HERE in person WITH YOUR FRIENDS!
VETERANS DAY is this Sunday. It’s a very special day when we, as a nation, honor those who serve or have served in our US military. Many men and women in our church family are part of the armed services, and we are VERY GRATEFUL to you and your family. The Bible says of Jesus, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve others, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Your CHOICE to serve our nation is honorable and noble. We thank you for your faithful service to protect our country and our families.
THANKSGIVING is just a couple of weeks away, and we want to serve our community by helping to provide meals to families in need. This year our goal is to serve 400 families a Thanksgiving meal, and WE CAN DO IT with your help! The cost to provide a meal for a family is $25. You can come prepared to give in our Sunday offering OR you can give online by clicking here. This is a GREAT WAY to open the doors of generosity in your life by showing yourself generous. When you plant seeds of generosity, you reap the fruit of generosity. Thank you in advance for FEEDING 400 FAMILIES this Thanksgiving!
GOD BLESS YOU and I’ll see you Sunday!
